CJ - "Brian" 

While attending Elim Elementary in Mrs. Bacca’s fourth grade class, CJ became friends with Brian, a new student to the school.  The loss of his friend due to leukemia that same year left a lasting impression, and for many years CJ wanted to write a song about Brian to celebrate his friend’s life and the all-too-short friendship.  This song briefly describes the budding friendship, sudden loss, and the response of a class needing to process a friend being taken by the disease.
